Brief intrduction of palm oil production line

For palm seed oil production line ,It includes palm prepressing plant, palm oil solvent extraciton plant , palm seed crude oil refinery plant .

Palm prepressing plant

(1). Clean oilseeds :Fist step of pretreatment, also is the fist step of making edible oil. By using Wind-driven separator, dust removing system, magnetic separation, gravity separator to remove impurity.

(2). Shelling, debarking,delint,soften : Second step of pretreatment, by using shucking machine to remove shell of oil seeds, because shell will reduce the rate of oil yield and life of the production line. Some of the oilseeds need to be softened like soybean or other hard oil plants.

(3). Break oil crops :Third step of pretreatment, by using flaking machine to roll oilseeds into base. About 4 valve. Like Soybean 2-4valve, peanut 4-6valve. Thickness of the base is about 0.1-0.5mm. This will make the surface of oilseeds bigger, easy to be cooked. extract edible from oilseeds easier, and can also rise the oil yield.

(4). Cooking oil seeds :Forth step of pretreatment, by using cooker make green billet to be cooked billet. Make the oil fused on the surface of the oil seeds. It will make edible oil easier to be prepressed extracted from the oilseeds.

(5).Prepress/press oil seeds :Fifth step of pretreatment, by using oil crops press machine press some of the edible oil from oil seeds. And make oil seeds become cake. After this step you will get crude edible oil and cake. After prepressing, there are about 18% resid in the cakes, the cakes will be sent to the solvent extraction plant, by the process of solvent extraction plant, we can get the oil in the cakes. And the resid in the cake will less than 0.8%.

Solvent extraction plant

1. Solvent pumps: continuously spray solvent to the rotary-typr extractor.

2. Roary extractor: spray and soak the pre-pressed cake with solvent so that oil fats can be dissolved in solvent (form miscella). After processing, you can get wet meal and miscella (mixed oil).

3. DTDC: used to separate the solvent from the wet meal.

4. Miscella tank 1st: pump the miscella ( oil with solvent) into the miscella 1st, then add 10% saline water to it. The phospholipid and impurities in the miscella will react with the saline water, at last the reactant precipitate, reaching the goal of purifying.

5. Miscella tank 2nd: the purified miscella will be pumped into it.

6. Miscella stripping: it will remove the remaining solvent in miscella. And the solvent will be discharged to condenser for recycling.

7. Condensers: used to cooling the solvent gas separated from the wet meal and miscella for recycling.

Palm crude oil refinery plant

1.The oil refinery machine is used for removing the impurities of oil, such as, fatty acid, phosphatide, metal ion, pigment, oxide, solid particle and volatile gas. It suitable for refining various crude oil, vegetable oil, such as sunflower seed oil, tea seed oil, groundnut oil, cottonseed oil, rice bran oil, soybean oil, corn oil and palm oil,etc.

2.The oil refinery machine can adopts chemical refining and physical refining, and the chemical refining includes batch refining, semi-continuous refining and continuous refining.

Main equipment of Palm oil refinery plant

1.Neutralization Tank: used for acid refining, alkali refining or washing.

2.Bleaching Tank: used for bleaching oil & removing pigment.

3.Deodorizing Tank: used for removing the odour of oil (made of stainless steel).

4.Conduction Oil Furnace: provide production with heat source, and the temperature can

reach 280 °C.

5. Vacuum Pump: provide vacuum degree for bleaching & deodorizing process, which can reach above755mmHg

6. Air Compressor: weather bleaching earth used in the bleaching process

7. Filter Press: filtrate the bleaching earth

8. Steam Generator: produce steam for deodorization and distillation process
